Project

Identify how available technology could potentially be used to improve efficiency and effectiveness and support the envisaged working environment and practices.

Scale

1 location, 13 employees.

Scope of requirements

Contact management, event management, project reporting, accounting, payroll, internal and external communication, knowledge base.

Issues

Assessment of existing facilities - management needed to determine the appropriateness of their existing systems and any additional facilities required.

Improved internal and external communication - desire to introduce better communication systems encompassing email and remote access.

Internal systems administration and support requirements - an assessment of the internal IT support requirements was required and how best the need could be satisfied.

Training needs analysis - little formal IT training had been provided and there was an urgent need to assess staff IT training requirements.
